Who is your favourite celebrity (living or passed) and why?

James Garner, by far.

He was down to earth, you didn't read dirt on him all the time, you never seen his face slathered all over the media constantly, and he lived a quiet and private life. Just seemed like a real man to me, one with class.

Yuck. I don't like politicians of any ilk! And personal integrity for anyone who gets to the presidency is a facade. American politics are too crooked for truly good people to rise that far.
 
I don't have an absolute favorite but a few I think are very good actors--Jack Nicholson and Robert De Niro. There are several others, too, I think are the greats but I'll just give you a few since you asked for a favorite. :p ;) The reasons--very talented and wonderful actors!
 
Jane Austen. Her sense of humor, analysis of people and talent as a writer have captivated people for centuries. She lived a quiet life with family and friends she loved and forged a career in a time when single women were generally so constrained.

So we can agree to disagree. That’s ok with me. 😁I don’t like politicians either . He wasn’t ever my president. I like them as everyday regular people which is basically what they are now as far as I know. Politics isn’t something I follow.

My next favourite celebrity is Anthony Hopkins.
 
As a little girl I adored Shirley Temple. Even watching her now, especially her dancing, I still think ‘that was one talented girl!’
