Too, too many
Certain songs..by certain singers
Yeah, that's me

Many play in my shop

Musician;

I can listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan for a very long time

and why?

I'm in awe

Singer and song;

Of late

In the Heat of the Night (soundtrack)

and why?

It puts me into the movie, of which is one of my faves

Think I can get it on CD?
Not at the price I'm willing to pay

I have three of his CDs that bounce off the shop walls

Pink Floyd
David Gilmour

Is another

and why?

Stops me from a project.....just to listen without distraction

If forced to pick one favorite musician it would be guitarist Adrian Belew. He was in King Crimson and also has played with many different acts that I enjoy including David Bowie, Talking Heads, and Frank Zappa, His has a very distinct sound.

Hey MarkinPhx which 5 cuts from him do you like?

There are so many.....
Linda Ronstadt, Adele, Neil Young, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Jackson Brown, Bob Seger, Joan Baez, Neil Diamond, Stevie R Vaughn
Seger and Dylan would be somewhere at the top of list...

Anyone who can play the fiddle (violin) and figure pick a guitar. I took up the violin many years back and kept at it for 5 years. Finally, like Hank Williams, "I Saw The Light" and quite. LOL The violin/fiddle was not for me. These days I sing and strum a guitar but I sure can't figure pick like Roy Clark. That guy had talent! I could never play like Roy Clark if I practiced 100 years. Here he is with that classic, "Ghost Riders in the Sky."

Right up there with Roy is Glen Campbell. Supposedly could not read music but boy, howdy, could he tear up a guitar!

I'm completely with you, @timoc, on Perlman. O my goodness! Such beautiful music!

The Temptations[of course]why? well great harmonies, classic songs, outstanding choreography, five lead singers, and that too cool four headed mike stand!
