Well over! According to some estimates I read the real population of the UK is nearer 90 million, and definitely over 80 million. This is known because supermarkets know how much a person eats each day, and all the supermarkets study each other's sales figures each month, so they know the total amount of food bought.

Also, the people who deal with the nation's sewage know how much each person creates each day, so they know by the volume of what they get each day/week/month, how many people are in the country.

ah but ...have they SEEN the fat people of the UK... some of them are eating for 6..... :ROFLMAO:

I absolutey agree tho' in all seriousness.. that 70 million is BS... they've been saying those same figures for years..and you know as well as I that even 5 years ago....the roads were busy but not a great problem to drive on.... now in the last 5 years or so since the huge influx of Eastern Europeans & Boat people.. and the never ending Indian & Pakistani planes flying in... ... our roads are just impossible... and month long waits to see a GP when as recently as 5 years ago we could see a GP on the same day.... and year long waits for treatment on the NHS when we just waited a few weeks before... ...

I don't have to be a mathematician to know that an Island smaller than Oregon whose pop is 4 million... is happily coping with 80 million people, because we're not ..we're stuffed full.. and yet they keep alllowing people in............It's absolute madness
