Used to. Not any more. Seems every TV commercial I see has mountains in it, ad nauseum. Give me the Great Plains, grasslands, or low rolling hills of the Midwest, thank you very much.

Actually, was a member of Colorado Mountain Club mid-late 60s and did a lot of non-technical climbing and cross-country snowshoeing. So, it kind of hurts to say I'm less than impressed with all the mountain stuff I'm seeing these days. Perhaps, and hopefully, it will pass. But for now, no more mountains for me please.

Growing up in Vancouver, it was lovely to look out of our 3rd floor window to see the mountains of North Van. I do miss that. It was a calming site.

Who loves mountains?

I do, have a good view of them from my house, quite close. Not nearly so spectacular as your pictures though.

Given a choice I'd rather live by the water, my ideal place has both.
