I loved getting it and sitting down with my coffee, going through the week and marking all the things I wanted to watch.
Was there a crossword in the back? Seems like it, and if there was I know I enjoyed that too. I’d read that thing cover to cover!
It’s still around, but its digital now and that just doesn’t have the same appeal to me.
Some trivia:
March 3, 1953, American magazine, TV Guide, published its 1st issue. The cover featured Lucille Balls infant son, Desiderio Alberto Arnaz Jr. The publication was sold in 10 US cities and had a total circulation of 1,560,000. It continued to be printed in digest size for the next 52 years.
