A monkey saved the life of one of his fellow primate friends when the animal lost consciousness after being electrocuted on train tracks in the northern Indian city of Kanpur, Sunday. The monkey was electrocuted while running over a high voltage power cable on the train tracks at Kanpur station. Rendering the animal unconscious, the monkey's saviour repeatedly bit the stunned primate and dipped it in a pool of water in order to resuscitate him.
 

I know better than to say that, animals definitely care about each other, one reason I'm an animal lover. Only problem I have with this video, is it's in a zoo location, and I don't care for zoos or circuses.

 

Did you see how solicitous the elephants were of the baby! Aaaaww, so wonderful!

As to the setting, it does look nice (for a zoo:() but so small. Elephants just don't belong in zoos.

I think four from Canada have been retired to a couple places in the States. One went to Tennessee and the other three went to California. What a win for them, acres to roam instead of a yard! I'm so glad for them.

The kitty and the dog were so cute too. Ain't love grand?

Wow!

As for elephants they are very intelligent and emotional. They even recognise bones of deceased family members.

I'm also opposed to zoos.
 
Zoos that feature a natural habitat such as the Toronto Zoo are wonderful and educational places to visit.

On the other hand some of these "petting zoos" also have other animals such as the big cats which left in small caged areas. There is one just outside of Toronto that made me want to cry.
 
I remember seeing that elephant video a while back and I thought it was so sweet too! She loved her friend Bella so much. Elephants are very fascinating in their relationships aren't they?
