Who will ever understand Human Nature?

Yesterday I was parked at the local Nature Park.
There were at least 100 parking bays with one other person up the other end.
A car comes in and has to park right beside me.
Is it something to do with needing to be part of a pack?
I will never understand why people do what they do.
happens to me without fail.. every single time I park in a big empty car park... sure as eggs are eggs when I come back the only other car in the place has parked right next to me...WHY???...also what gets on my last pip is when people reverse up against the rear of my car... it means I can't get to open the boot to put my shopping away...

...probably didn't have anything to do with your being there.

That type of thing really gets to me also.
We’ve been doing a bit of travelling lately and stopped at a huge highway gas station/ rest stop/ coffee shop type place with hundreds of empty spots around. Two huge campers park right beside us. We were parked the furthest away from the buildings as possible to get some privacy.
We survived. 😅

You didn't mention if you were parked closer to the entrance. Could be your car looked more well kept than the other. Or as simple as for security due to the location where people would be able to observe any wrong doing.

You did say there was another person parked up the other end. A pack would be more likely if that vehicle & yours were together.

Someone parking next to me when there are ample spaces is not my biggest beef. It is when there are few parking spaces and someone parks so close to the line that I can barely get out of the car. I've literally had to go through the passenger door and crawl over to the driver's seat in some cases. :cautious:

Depends. Did you park at the closest point to the store/path? Perhaps you parked at the most convenient spot, and they did too?

Now, if I'm parked at the very most distant spot, and THEN someone decides to park next to me - that's more likely to require an explanation. :D
