So here I am, posting for the first time on a Seniors forum! Oh my gosh, 'I remember when.....' I'm finally old enough to start comments like that. Who would have thought that I'd survive my youth to end up here in a 'place' like this.

Oh well, hi folks.

My name is Debby and I retired seven years ago (52 years old at the time and yes I know, I got lucky!) and this year, I finally feel retired and content. I hope to share some ideas and thoughts on the things that interest me and to find out about the things that interest you. Hope you're having a great day by the way!

Hello and welcome to the forum Debby.
I am from eastern Canada also and it is starting to feel like autumn here.
September is my favourite month and the weather is usually nice through October.

And I have green tomatoes on the vine, several watermelons that are way too small yet, etc., and you're right about it feeling like autumn already!!! It's like we had a two week summer and we got a bunch of rainy days in the midst of that! Not fair, not fair.

If it weren't for my unripened fruit in the garden, I'd be 'rejoicing' at the lovely weather, but seriously, watermelon needs 'lovelier' if you know what I mean. Anyhow, nice to hear from you. Hope the sun shines for you today wherever you are!
