Yesterday on the local news there was a video on the southbound Intestate being a parking lot due staring at the feeder road being backed up forever. The news said it was due to the vaccine distribution program at the United Hospital. I thought, that can't be true because it was by appointment only. The schedule was six persons per hour and all had to have the attachments that came with the appointment email. We were instructed to show up fifteen minutes before the schedule time. Today I got a text saying all vaccinations are "rescheduled due to the overwhelming demand from the community and it's impact on traffic in our area."

So let's review this, 1.) it was by appointment only and 2.) you had to have the necessary documents. 3) How the then did the hundreds and hundreds of people show up when ever they damn well pleased? 4) How did the workers handle all these cars coming in and not all were on the schedule. Apparently due to the long lines in both feeder lanes they ere not being told to go home. 5) Did those people get vaccinations anyway? Strangely, I don't see any mention of this fiasco on our news.

I was totally shocked at how well organized our little hospital had the vaccinations handled.
I got a call, asking what time would be good for me.
Told to bring ID card, insurance cards.

Upon arrival got a temperature check, pointed in direction to get in line.

Showed my cards, name checked , go to next table & so on, got my shot,,waited the 15 minutes & out the door I went.

Something went horribly wrong. And I'm sure the hospital didn't want any publicity. It was probably their whoops.
