Maybe it's my imagination but when I've looked at or for senior forums, the great majority seem to be UK based? Nothing wrong with it. Just a curiosity on my part.
Why are so many senior sites based in the UK?

it's got to be a rhetorical question surely ?.. no idea tbh... perhaps there's less for seniors to do here ..or perhaps it's because in some parts of the UK the weather is fairly unpredictable so people don't go out so often..I truly have no idea..

I've always wondered that too. Think about the millions that live in London, New York, Texas, Scotland, Wales Ireland, Florida.. and every state in the USA... and that's just English speaking countries..where is everyone ?

I've noticed the same thing, Dave. I've heard that the UK (and Germany too) was more proactive about services for seniors; heard from people actually living in both the UK and Germany & who had moved here to the US & really noticed the difference. So if that's indeed the case, could explain why the UK anyway has more sites for seniors?

Well, this is one of the reasons. The demographics of the UK show that the population is declining in numbers. That means that Brits are having fewer kids. It skews the population with more over 40 than under 40. Strangely this is a trend for all well developed nations.So many OLD people live there!!
