Why can't Witches have babies?

Who'd want to impregnate a witch, have you smelled their breaths, and how could it be done, they are always sitting on broomsticks? :)

There are witches and there are witches. My wife sealed her reputation one day whilst at work. Before retirement she was a paramedic, and on this particular day she was driving the ambulance under emergency conditions, high speed, blue lights flashing and sirens wailing. The driver, make that boy racer, of a super fast Audi car, overtook the ambulance in what my wife described as, a most dangerous manoeuvre, causing the driver of the oncoming car to make a lightning reaction to avoid a head on collision, then the Audi was gone.

Unabashed, my wife simply gave vent by saying: "A hex on you." Half a mile later the ambulance passed the now stricken Audi, both it's offside front and rear wheels, punctured. My wife just glanced across to her partner and smiled a smug smile. Later, back at the ambulance station, my wife's partner was all hyped up. "Never," he stressed, "never, ever cross her," my wife just smiled.

Her optician wasn't sure of her either. He had spent a good five minutes trying to sell her an extra pair of night vision specs. She didn't want to know, the optician finally got the hint when she said: "Don't you know, witches see better in the dark?"

And how would they feed a baby? Well we've all heard the expression, "As dry as a witch's tit." :) ;)

'Dry' or 'Cold'? What does it matter, what baby (even the grown up ones) would want to suckle on a witch. :)

I don't know any witches, nor do I know for certain witches exists. On that note are we talking about fairy tale witches? Witches in movies and tv shows? What is the criteria to be a witch? Are witches born witches or do they choose to be a witch?

Does magic exist or is it simply a combination of natural ingredients that any with correct knowledge could perform? Is it really magic? Why would a person want to cast a spell? It seems spell casting for personal gain and or to hinder another person demonstrates an inability to accept life and circumstances as they happen.

I know a person who practices magic because he can't handle the real world. So he sacrifices candy or whatever he feels worthy of offering and dances around his room in search of satisfaction, whatever that may be.

I don't know that people who claim to be witches are similar to witches in movies and TV? Surely not, I surmise, I am curious about witches in general and their purpose in life?

We had a cat who could seemingly appear from nowhere. He was exceptionally adroit at getting under your feet, especially if you happen to be carrying a pan of steaming vegetables or anything else that's scalding hot. We named him Merlin and my wife made a hat for him.
