Why Do I Do This? Seems Nutty To Me

I have a nice lady come in to clean my two bed two bath apartment on a regular basis. She does a Super Job and is here for a hour and a half and I pay her $50. Why do I worry about my apartment being messy before she arrives. I will run around picking up things and putting them away, make my bed etc.etc. Seems dumb to me since she would do all these little things and probably a lot faster than me.
 

Lon, I know people that do that all the time! If I had a cleaning service come in I would probably do the same thing. I guess I don't want others having to deal with my "mess". Mopping, dusting, cleaning toilets, etc. is one thing but picking up my general stuff is another thing. I think it's a personal thing.
 

I never had a maid or cleaning lady, but I'd probably do the same thing and pick up any personal clutter.

I had a cleaning person many years ago and I did the same thing, tidy up, put away the bills, personal items, valuables, etc...

Then one day I decided that with just a little more effort I could do the cleaning myself.

These days clean might be too strong a word, at least it's neat, LOL!!!
 
I used to own a cleaning service, Lon, and you'd be surprised how many times a residential customer would call and cancel that day's cleaning because they "didn't have a chance to clean up first". :D
