Why do I keep getting notifications that someone posted on "Who is the most famous person you ever met." thread.

I keep getting these notifications that someone posted on the " Who is the most famous person you ever met." I didn't originally post the thread, I only made one comment. I don't know why I'd want to know about this. How do i get rid of these notices?

Go to the thread, and click the "Unwatch" button over to the right. That should do it.

You "watch" a thread automatically if you replied to it. You can disable various notifications on your account preference page: https://www.seniorforums.com/account/preferences (scroll down to "Receive a notification when someone…" )
