Why do we have to Change the Clocks?

Boy Treeguy, I sure agree with you on that ! Let the farmers and the schools make their OWN arrangements

and LEAVE THE REST OF US ALONE !!!!!

The George W. Bush administration extended daylight savings time four weeks longer to save energy because people
wouldn't have to turn on lights or use other electrical appliances until later in the day.

Even though Hawaii doesn't follow daylight savings time and we don't have to change our clocks, we are affected because there's a shorter time for businesses and people to call businesses on the mainland and also our cable television shows get changed to an hour earlier (or is that later???). It's now a 5-hour difference from here to the East Coast and soon it will six hours ahead.

I for one would also love for daylight savings time to be eliminated.

I like day light savings time because I get another hour of daylight at the end of the day. Living so far south in the U.S. it's nice that the sun will not set until 7 pm instead of 6 pm.

Seniors retired? Stuff like DST shouldn't make any difference. Forget the clock. Get up when you feel like it Go to bed when you are tired, eat when you are hungry.

I don't change the clock. I just add an hour mentally.

Thank goodness for technology. This thing didn't work worth a damn on cloudy days or after dusk.
