Why I Talk about Grape Seed Extract So Much (Memory Loss and Cancers and more)

As I have a couple of medical issues and have to take regular meds.. I looked up the interactions between those meds and found this...

[h=2]What other drugs will affect grape seed?[/h] Do not take grape seed without medical advice if you are using any of the following medications:

This list is not complete. Other drugs may interact with grape seed, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Not all possible interactions are listed in this product guide.

I am taking 2 which are on the list.. one of which for Asthma ..., so it's very important that anyone on any medication who may be considering Grape Seed Extract or in fact any other supplement, take their doctors' advice before continuing.

This extract interacts with so many other things which can make it extremely problematic for others and something that hasn’t been mentioned once in all the ‘praise grape seed extract’ rants we’ve all had which is extremely important. Just because it works great for one person , doesn’t mean it’s going to do the same for others and to constantly make posts about how great it works without adding any of these contraindications is a bit irresponsible. It could be potentially life threatening for some others to take this extract so I’m really glad you made this post holly.

For someone who has spent so many decades studying this extract, you would think that they’d have no problems answering questions others had about it BUT it’s starting to look like jamin’ ONLY knows how good it is for herself only.

I have taken Resveratrol for years (I think it is a grape seed extract) and my mind is sharp, but it could be my DNA as my grandma lived to be 98 and was alert when she passed and I have made and drank grape wine since my grandpa taught me how to make it. The only medication I take is for high blood pressurer . My doctor who has passes was not in favor of ANY herbs. Does anyone have a fix for balance issues as my balance has gone south...It is true, herbs (ancient medicine) can have interactions with medication (man made chemicals] so it is best to check it out.

An excellent post....

I have a friend who deals with asthma and taking drugs and inhaler use and highly allergic, so she's aware of it all and watches her foods like a hawk. She's been taking GSE for over 8 yrs now and taking less meds and using inhaler less...she feels so strongly about GSE she has her husband taking it for his general health in his 80's.

You can google: Asthma and Grape Seed Extract

Resveratrol came on the scene some yrs after Grape Seed Ex hit us big time. Costco sells a product that contains both Resveratrol and Grape Seed Ex and I have a friend with nasty neuropathy and she's off gabapentin and all it's side effects and is finding this Costco product good for her issues. She has her adult daughter taking it too.

Allopathic MD's will poo poo anything that will MAYBE take their patients off their beloved drugs.

And yes one needs to know these OPC's clean and thin our blood and that's good so we don't end up with clots.

I say when in doubt, DON'T....lots of doubt here so....
