Why isn't there a "Jump to new" button available in some threads?

"Jump to new" is available in most threads
But not in "Post alphabetical music videos" and not in "What are you listening to in 2025" threads.

I use it , but it invariably leaves a lot of scrolling

I just use the New Posts link, under the Forums link on the top Left side of the forum. I never even noticed a Jump to New link.

Jump to New button saves some scrolling and navigating which is great on a cell phone.
I have a page bookmarked in each of the music post threads I mentioned above. It drops me somewhere in the middle of the thread. Clicking Jump to New then puts me at the most recent post so that I can add a new one.
It's literally a godsend.

I have never heard of a button like that either. It is no big deal for me to figure it out, what needs to be done.
