And your point is???Many people don't even where one watch today, but those that do why just one? Why not a watch on each wrist?

Isn't a watch now more of a show of status and style? If so, why just one? More watch more status, you get?And your point is???
If you wear a watch, why would you want to have one on each wrist? So that you can see GMT and British Summer Time as well??
Sorry, but I don't get your argument.
No, it is for telling time. Now everyone carries their phone with them so don't need a watch. I have about a dozen watches and they were not for a status symbol. I don't need them now that I am retired and don't work at a job.Isn't a watch now more of a show of status and style? If so, why just one? More watch more status, you get?
^ A watch is handy. When I'm doing something that doesn't involve talking on the phone (yes, I actually have other things to do with my life), I can just look at my wrist. I don't have to fumble around in my pockets to get out my phone, activate it, swipe it, and put it back in my pocket. My grandfather always had a pocket watch, which was cool, but not efficient.I wear a watch... not everyone wants to carry a phone around just to know the time.

could be the next big fashion statement! Why?
Because there is no point to it.
Because you would not be showing "style" like you think...
Since you think a watch on each wrist is indicative of status and style, why not include pocket watches too?
Maybe people will think more of you if you wear two watches on each wrist!![]()
How about ankle watches for when you are tying your shoes? Why?

I loved this post until it got to the bit "most people aren't going to pay attention anyway."By their nature, watches are tools which show time: this would imply that one should wear only one watch as wearing two doesn't really give much functional advantage.
On the other hand, no one really needs a watch these days, so they are more and more just "jewelry which happen to tell time", thus making it more acceptable to wear two at the same time.
Having a "jewelry watch" (regular watch) and an Apple watch/fitness tracker at the same time absolutely makes sense, as they serve a different purpose (even if the Apple watch does show time too).
I say wear whatever you like, most people aren't going to pay attention anyway.
Not me... I don't go around holding a phone in my hand effectively making me disabled and one hand out of action....People only need one watch because they always have their cell phone in one hand, that's a time piece itself.
