We used one of these <-- which was especially helpful before my spouse sadly passed away.
I like how it worked, but it's plastic line and plastic connector eventually failed, so it is not recommended.

The whole idea of using a bidet is not just plonk yourself down after you have used the toilet.
It is advisable to use toilet paper when one is on the toilet, then wash on the bidet.
I have used bidets all my life and love them... all homes should have one.

I expect the one my wife uses to fail at some point. Buying one like Sassycakes showed in post 25 look like it is a better quality.

I've seen advertisements that tout new fangled bidets that will save money on toilet paper. Don't you still need to wipe your wet butt? I guess they mean you won't have to use as much.

You could use a wash cloth instead of t.p. and hang it up by the toilet. That way no t.p. is used.

Nah. With the Biffy bidet attachment, you just use it, then dry with toilet paper. And you'll see no brown "stuff".
