Why Some Politicians Will Not Support Trump

There are other reasons of course but one of them must certainly be resentment that Trump has never paid his dues to join the club like most of them have. He was never a City Councilman or any kind of Assemblyman, mayor or governor. He jumped into the race with a pot full of his own$$$$ and astounded everyone with his rise to his now prominent position and that just has to be a bitter pill for many to swallow.

He is certainly an "outsider" to the political establishment, and that probably doesn't sit well with many members of the "clique". However, every time he opens his mouth he strikes fear into the heart of any reasonable person. We certainly need some major changes in this nations government, but Trumps ideas and comments are so screwed up that he would be a disaster if elected. I just hope that he and Hillary Clinton get on the same stage in a debate, and show the American public just how messed up that Both of them are.

I agree. They both strike fear in my heart for the future, but for different reasons. I've never seen two worse choices for president.

I agree Lon, plus some of them may worry that he'll blow their cover and expose some of the things they've gotten away with over the years. He did come on really strong anti-establishment in the beginning and the ones who were doing unsavory things behind the scenes probably became frightened.

Don, agree about Trump's ideas and comments. He only seems reasonable on stage when he's reading a prepared speech written by someone else and behaving like they told him too. He appears very unnatural when doing this. Almost daily he'll be himself and blurt out another bad comment about something.

I'll be curious as to how he handles the debates with Clinton, if he doesn't back out of them. I don't think he has the knowledge to debate the issues on his own, and I wonder if he could get through a debate without getting defensive and attacking. He seems to be very thin skinned and likes to retaliate.

In a debate with Clinton, she will take his lunch money and kick sand in his face.

They are the worst choices I won't vote for either
