This explains it all very clearly:
(very interesting)
(very interesting)
I didn't realize wars and the atrocities of war have been basically endless for several decades. There have been years-long periods when news outlets just didn't report on it, and people forgot about it.Absolutely correct. The mainstream media just covers what will get eyeballs. What is going on in Sudan is horrible.
With 1% of Sudan's wealth going toward education, 3% to a healthcare system, and nearly all the rest going offshore while produce food farms burn and swatches of the population is slaughtered, there's little hope of a successful, progressive life for the Sudanese people.primitive low level human life forms?
Yeah, I suppose there's always been a sort of class system in basically 2 types of communities under 2 types of leadership:well throughout our globe we do seem to be all advancing or decreasing at varying levels of 'quality of lifestyles'? - surely we didn't all start of equally and kept going that way happy as pigs in s...?
Oh yes... people colonized by the Europeans (and others), should have thanked their lucky stars not to mention their masters, because colonizers are soooo benign, giving, generous, stabilizing, respectful and uplifting to indigenous populations. Not!Much of Africa was once under the rule of various European countries, which kept things stable. However, they didn't realise how lucky they were and demanded independence, slaughtering white people in order to get it.
After all 3 of my kids reached adulthood and left the nest, I signed up with one of those global charity organizations that has an "adopt a kid" program. I was assigned to a 9yr-old Sudanese boy named Israel, and sent "him" the max amount of money every month (I think it was $25 at the time), and we exchanged monthly letters. His letters included an English translation, and my letters were read to him by one of the organization's social workers at their kid's activities and services center. The children always suffer for no fault of their own.
Absolutely correct. The mainstream media just covers what will get eyeballs. What is going on in Sudan is horrible.
Well they've covered certain parts of it, right?...the parts that fit their politics. (on both sides)They didn't cover what went on in the Israeli/Palenstine incident either - it's all a matter of political influence.
Many Sudanese single mothers are victims of rape that caused pregnancy. Many of them are very young, and have multiple children of rapists. And husbands with children can be counted among the several hundreds of thousands of men who have been killed. When we see adds on TV for save the children fund which I believe is a good charity …. …but we wonder where the fathers of there’s staving / malnourished children are ? ….
here in Australia it shows one woman at 24 years old with 6 starving children
Well they've covered certain parts of it, right?...the parts that fit their politics. (on both sides)
It's not merely dis-informative when journalists and news outlets become political influencers, it's dangerous. And there's proof of that.
Sad ..very sad to see girls as young as 12 with a child @MurrmurrMany Sudanese single mothers are victims of rape that caused pregnancy. Many of them are very young, and have multiple children of rapists. And husbands with children can be counted among the several hundreds of thousands of men who have been killed.
My heart aches for those mothers, who are not only victims themselves, but have to witness their children's horrible suffering and slow deaths.
What in the colonial arrogance is that supposed to mean?Much of Africa was once under the rule of various European countries, which kept things stable. However, they didn't realise how lucky they were and demanded independence, slaughtering white people in order to get it.
Africans are tribal, as are all human beings. Under European rule, countries were stable. Once we left, the different tribes were determined to annihilate each other. I should add that I have lived in Africa so I have personal experience of the hostility between the different tribes. It's the same in most countries where you get different factions occupying the same space. Human nature. What in the colonial arrogance is that supposed to mean?
I believe that things were destabilised by colonialism.
