Stay safe Pookie, we've had wildfires here and the air made it very hard to breathe, especially for those with lung conditions. The sun was dimmed to a dark orange color. Sorry to hear they're so close to you.

I've been reading about the fires in the news. I hope they aren't too close to you. I hope you get lots of rain soon so they can get them under control. Wildfires are scary.

We're okay, our community isn't close to the fires but the smoke is awful. Thanks, folks! Keeping paws crossed for the firefighters and evacuees.

My brother-in-law posted a picture of the mountains you normally would see from his back porch in Western NC. Can't see them now for the smoke.
