Will be gone for a while.

Yes, I did for I went to group therapy.
Is that the one near the cheerleader camp? :)

A guy at group therapy started complaining about the cost of his wife having her fingernails and toenails done a fingernail toenail place. He said it cost from 85 to 115 dollars then I blurted out "Wow, I have spent less than that having a horses hoofs trimmed and shoed. " He looked at me and gave me "That Look" and began ignoring me. Then I thought how fortunate it is that I am to be a member here on Senior Forums.

Therapy of any kind is good!

Yes, it is the one near the cheerleading center at the Fort Collins College University. There are all types of dolls walking around and riding their bicycles there. It is at the VA center where me, myself, I, and other disabled veterans go for group therapy. After the main group therapy is over most of the guys go to a local bar to continue group therapy by moving their elbows up and down and talk about thing we are not supposed to talk about at group.

I am certainly glad you were able to to toss a few back and get to the heart of your sinfulness. You could have gone to a church, but I think you need a membership card there. Being a disabled veteran must have it's challenges, but nothing a few shots of tequila with some benzo's won't cure.

A friend of my Wife goes to "group therapy " at Casino Rama. The group travels up there together on the free bus, from Yorkdale. Smile. JimB.
I looked up Casino Rama's website and it looks like they have great food and tonight is bottoms up night I see. It is 1560 miles from me, and the traffic is light. I don't believe I could make it in time unless I go to bottoms up night on Friday night two weeks from now.

If it is bottoms up night be sure to walk on all fours. I am sure that if you find the small bull with the nose ring icon on Casino Rama's website and click on it, the worm hole provided will get you there on time but not necessarily in space.

A further inducement is that in Canada any money you win at the casino, race track. lottery or bingo is.......Tax Free. Yes you get to keep every dollar you win here. Of course if you are an American, the IRS will be waiting for you at the border, with their hands out. I think the minimum cut is thirty percent, or more. JimB.

Man, if I had the money, I would rent a bus to take myself and my old friends in group therapy there. But the bus would need three bathrooms, at least ten beds, two nurses, one doctor, two drivers, an oxygen machine, a medical unit and two service dogs.

Lawrence. I know that you were making a joke, but.....Quite a few American seniors come to Canadian border cities to buy prescription drugs, especially insulin ( which was originally developed by 2 Canadian medical scientists named Doctors Banting and Best ) bus loads in fact. The USDA tries to scare people from doing this, but it is perfectly legal as MOST of the drugs they buy were produced in the USA. Canada has a national drug price control law, that regulates the retail prices of drugs. In many cases the cost in Canada is half of what the retail cost ( for the same drug ) in the USA is. Now that the Covid border restrictions have been lifted for Americans to enter Canada, I am sure that those busses will be rolling again. Jimb.

They entice us patriotic American's to cross the border. Don't you know how Big Daddy Pharma sheds a crocodile tear when we don't sacrifice our newborn's for his drugs? Shame!

I know that you are making a joke, but did you know that in Canada, pharma companies cannot advertise prescription drugs at all in any form of media ? Yep. JImB. In Toronto.

Thanks for the tip, I already get my meds at no cost from the VA and so do almost all the old guys I hang around with.
