Our UNM medical college is very picky about what kinds of cadavers they will take. If one wants to donate to them, the survivors had better have a Plan B if they are not accepting any when the time comes.
In Minn, my ex sister in law & her DH made advance reservations with U Minn & when his time came the family referred to it as having”gone away to college”.
And once a year the U has a memorial and remembrance event for the survivors. She said it was really beautiful.
I want to be cremated and either have my ashes shipped anywhere out of NM because I dont want to spend eternity here. Or I can go up in top of DDs bookcase with their dogs’ ashes.
