Will you be making any resolutions for the coming year?

It is time to think about them, but to be honest I can't remember if I ever made any and if I did when I stopped. It is hard being perfect even if others don't think that you are...

I can relate Father......it's really hard to be humble when you're perfect.

May I suggest " I will not tell fibs in 2017 "

I always make a couple and for some reason as I get older they are easier for me to keep.

The usual stuff, eat better, exercise more, do a few good deeds, get rid of 2017 boxes of clutter and books this year!

I try to make resolutions everyday so I can keep focused on the present and have a hard enough time keeping those sometimes. So for a year ? No way.....

Yes and no...yes because I decided to make some changes in my life when I got into my new place which happened to be just a few days ago so a coincidence to Christmas and New Year. No because I don't usually make them for New Year.

Just for the record I have moved into the carriage house on our property to get away from stairs in the main house so I am very hopeful for the future now.

But .. the yes ones.

I am going to try to turn my life around some what, so I need to eat more regularly, get out more, try to find some low impact volunteer work, try to improve my mobility, not likely but it is on the list, and general stuff like that as my life has been pretty rough the last year or two.

Go for it!!!!!

I'm a realist so here's my list of goals for 2017:
1. Gain another 15 pounds or so
2. Exercise less, which will be a challenge because, well, you know.
3. Spend more time on social media
4. Spend less time (which means 0) with what little family and friends I have left.
5. Waste more money on things I don't want and/or don't need.

Don't know if they're resolutions, but I am going to strive to complete a few more projects around the house and take care of a few more business details that I have been delaying.

I am going to make more time to do the things I enjoy and try not to live by such a rigid time schedule. I tend to make lists for the next day that I can't possibly do in a day, then I get stressed. When I look back at these lists there are so many unimportant tasks that can wait. I tend to live by the clock. Breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12. Clean on Thursday, wash on Saturday.etc. So what if it's an hour or a day late. I have the luxury to do things whenever and however I want so I should take advantage of it. I hope I have just talked myself into this, old habits are hard to break.
