Windows 11 Task Manager update

I recently purchased a new Dell laptop, and I was unpleasantly surprised by the amount of "bloatware" included by Dell. There are a number of background tasks running to collect data, allow remote access, etc. I tried to stop these tasks using the "end task" feature in the task manager, but they would just restart themselves. I'm reluctant to delete the programs unless I can completely understand what purpose they serve. Today I learned of a new feature in Windows 11 that stops the automatic restart for these tasks.
Open Settings, click on System, and turn on Developer mode.
Now, when you end a task, it will not re-open unless you activate it or re-boot your computer.

Thank you for the tip! We just got two of the higher end Samsung cell phones and its just crazy to see all the crap they have stuffed them with. And you are so right, you can't remove them!

I guess I'm lucky that our friend likes to build computers. The last desk top we have is one he put together for us & has exactly what we want. And if we have a problem, I call him.

I only wish he could do laptops as I need to replace the one I have. Not looking forward going through everything & setting it up the way I want.

That's why I have always stuck with Google Nexus/Pixel phones. No bloatware from phone manufactures. Of course since it is a phone put out by Google, all of the Google apps are there but they are the same apps as any other Android phone. Plus, they are more affordable and the A series of Pixel phones fit the needs of most users (budget line of Pixel phones).
