Windows Defender Reporting a False Positive Sunday Morning.

If you are using Windows Defender and keep getting a security threat notice then you may want to read this article. Apparently there is an issue with Defender and the notification is a false positive. I was getting the notification and it was driving me crazy trying to figure out what the issue was.

Odd, I've always had win def, but never did report any probs....
maybe I no longer get updates since i am on win 7 pro,,,,,,,,yes
I do, just checked and ran a scan, no probs.....

I have never used Windows defender. I was using Bitdefender Free Anti-Virus last year. This year I switched over to Malwarebytes Professional version, and like it even more.
 
Thank you MarkinPh, handy information, I don't
think that I have Defender on my machine, but
I do have the Windows 10 security.

I will keep a look-out.
