1700hour, my support worker will be here in 1/2 a hour. Must tell her that she needs to stay 2 hrs. each time, because she rushing to get home after 1/ 1/2 hour. Its hard to tell her she does a good job, but could take a bit more time with my personal care. Otherwise I have to let her know that she can only get 1.5 hours paid. I really hate to do it, but its my money and 2 hours is her roster.

You certainly are right in that she should be paid for the number of hours worked. Not what she rushed through and would have been paid had she stayed longer.
I can understand you may not like speaking up to her about this matter. But if you don't, she will believe she has your approval about what she's doing, and you know it will become her routine.

Christine and I do not need carers although we live in sheltered housing.

The Carers who do visit people here only have ten minutes each patent.
I think half an hour would be luxury for them.

I agree, if you're paying for two hours, that's how long she should be there earning it. :dollar:

thanks everyone for your support and advice , yes I spoke to my carer and she agreed either to do more chores or to get only paid for the time she actually works . Hope that you all well and safe . Cheerio:love_heart: Renate
