I am glad to think that the days are now going to start getting a little bit longer again. However, that is offset by the fact that January and February are often the coldest months of the year, and that is where we are headed next.
Overall, it is still a good thing, because every cold day survived brings me a day closer to Springtime and Sunshine again.
I am staying bundled up, and have the little electric heater by my feet turned on to keep at least a little bit warm; so all is good.

While I do not fancy the hot, humid summer weather, I can't say I like snowy, frigid days either. Why can't it just be May for 6 months and September for 6 months?

I can totally relate to that, and I would be happy with not having four seasons anymore, too. At least, in the hot summer, I can spend time out in the little backyard swimming pool, and keep cool while I get my suntan and soak up all that Vitamin D Sunshine Vitamin.
