Wishing you the BEST with your FOOT operation tomorrow JimW

This is great news! Are you still going to physical therapy? Whatever you do, don't over do it!!!

Thanks Ronni! Yes I'm still going to p/t, but not sure for how much longer. It costs me $35 per visit twice a week and I can do all of the exercises at home. The only thing I don't have is an electronic muscle stimulator. I have a stationary bike, treadmill and weight bench at home, so I might start cutting down my p/t visits to one a week if not cut them out altogether.

So happy to hear of your progress, Jim! You'll be dancing by New Year's Eve! :)

Thank you RR! I don't know about dancing, but I certainly hope to be walking at full speed by then.

So I have finally lost the boot cast and have started driving myself back n forth to work again. The Mrs is happy beyond words about that, lol. I am walking gingerly with no brace, All things considered, it feels pretty good and I'm right on schedule recovery wise.

Thanks again to everyone for your support! You folks are great!

Man, sir Jim, you got this!

The taproom is open for ya

cheers

Thanks Gary, I could use a cold one or ten bout now!

Glad you're out of the boot, Jim!

I'm back in mine again for another six weeks. Bummer! I'd rather hang it on the mantel.

Thanks Jujube!

Sorry to hear that you're back in yours though. What's wrong with your foot/leg? I hope you get better soon! I've still got my boot and crutches in the corner of the bedroom, I think it's time to retire them to the attic!

I've had a bit of a set back with the healing process of my calf muscle. For 3 weeks now I've been fighting this pain in my calf trying to work through it as suggested by my Doc and the physical therapist to no avail. The pain is just as bad today as it was 3 weeks ago. My Doc called me this morning and he wants me back in the boot cast for two weeks so the calf muscle can fully heal. He said I can drive back n forth to work, but other than that the boot needs to be on. Well dammit!
