CA drought: far-reaching effects
 

A lot of our winter vegetables in canada come from california and mexico. This drought will likely add to shortages and prices. as well as the soil drying out and a dustbowl like in the 1930's . read somewhere they have closed much water flowing south from Oregon so salmon runs in danger as well as other aquatic life. canada has a lot of water but much is isolated and not really renewable
