Across the divide - was such light.
Beaming boldly - it shone Bight.
Commanding attention - who were afraid.
Directing - all who were lost.
Ensuring hope - would be there.

Fire, lit up the land.
Glowing bright - in Scarlet Red
Heat burnt fiercely - all around.
I knew, hope had gone.
Journey's end - had now arrived.

Kissing her was a mistake.
Love is more than lust.
My actions were so premature.
Natural progression requires some patience.
Once more I was alone.
