What is a 'whiskey smoker'?

It's a device used to infuse your whiskey or favorite cocktail with a smoky flavor, it's a bit like smoking meat.

I've gotten into birdhouses - that expanded to owl houses and now I'm into bat houses. And it also entails figuring out where to put them and gets quite complicated - keeping the squirrels out - and putting the owl and bat houses up high. Keeps me busy.
