I was going to post a picture of two red footed boobies that landed on the bow pulpit of my sailboat 500 miles from shore and rode along with me for an hour or more. Someone who I thought was smarter than me said they were albatrosses, but I wasn't sure, so I looked it up. Boobies are not albatrosses. They have similar life styles, but they are a different bird. The picture wouldn't get much comment anyway, but for me it's sill a delightful memory. When they decided they had gone far enough with me, they up and left. I was sad to see them go. They were great guests to have aboard.
