Word of the Day - Dither

Ah, reminds me of lines from a Wallace Stevens poem:

"Words add to the senses. The words for the dazzle
Of mica, the dithering of grass,
The Arachne integument of dead trees,
Are the eye grown larger, more intense.”

If you have a scheduled morning appointment, and it's been a cold enough night, for you to need to don extra layers of clothing, and to prepare the car; 🥶😨😫
then, rise up quickly, and do not dither! :sleep::oops::eek::rolleyes:

:LOL::D:ROFLMAO:

Remember Dagwood? His boss was named Mr. Dithers. I always loved that name.

I tend to dither on the below zero mornings when I have to leave the house.
