I have to screen my thoughts at times from ethnocentrism because that is how I was taught to believe. I understand better after I do.

Everyone has been "taught to believe" a certain way growing up, in any country, ethno or not,

Almost always leads to lots of problems, eh ?

But still, can you think or imagine a time when ethnocentrism would not cause nor lead to harmful problems or wrong ideas ? Maybe some time, some where, somehow, something positive from ethnocentrism, though rare ?

It's not a horrible thing to be ethnocentric. Most people are. Our ethnicity is something we all have, practice and are.
