Flehmen (verb) - a mammalian behavior especially noted in horses and cats in which the animal inhales with the mouth open and upper lip curled to facilitate exposure of the olfactory organ to a scent or pheromone.

I noticed a cat exhibiting flehmen when smelling a bush.
