Histrionics (noun) - exaggerated dramatic behavior designed to attract attention or control someone.

The altercation in the restaurant resulted in some disturbing histrionics.

If you studied Histrionics, at University,
I assume that they would teach you how to flail your arms and legs, at the same time as screaming and verbalizing complaints, at the same time as squirming and refusing to walk or to leave the room.

I am not sure how some toddlers and preschoolers, seem to have learned it so well, on their own, and at such a young age.
I remember being shocked at how skilled they were at it.
