Latent ~ existing but not yet developed or manifest; hidden or concealed.

Often used for a talent, that a person might have, that they haven't explored, or fully learned, or exposed to others, that they might or might not realize they have.
Though the word has many additional uses, such as latent symptoms of an underlying medical condition.
