The railroad industry was once an oligopoly as only a few corporations had a stake in the operations.

I like the spelling in the title: Ogliopoly.

Comcast is an oligopoly as are HomeDepot and Lowes. King Soopers/Kroger and the other names it goes by is most definitely. Best Buy... probably Amazon.
