Homeless people congregate and panhandle in the center of the city.

I used to live in the Florida Panhandle, we had no Amarillo, but plenty of armadillos...

The state tourist folks are trying to change the name to Florida's Great Northwest, guess they think that will draw more folks in. I'm sticking with Panhandle.
