Word of the Day: Pomegranate

I've never eaten a pomegranate, but have seen foods with pomegranate flavoring so I decided to find out about them. I realize after watching this video that I have seen them in the grocery store but didn't know what they were.

Back in Junior High days the nearby store sold them for a pittance. It was a normal snack after school.

If you’d like a pink frosting/icing, add some pomegranate juice. No artificial colouring.

I have a weakness for creams that are citrus scented or have berry ingredients in them.

I've eaten pomegranates but a long time ago and can't even recall how to eat one...maybe I'll try again some day.
