Word of the day - Procrastinate

Procrastinate from the Latin crastinus, meaning of tomorrow. Crastination, a noun, now obsolete, to delay things until later.
The most famous procrastinator has to be Shakespeare's: Hamlet.

Even though Hamlet believes in the vengeance of his father's death by executing Claudius, he is afraid that the void that would be left would inevitably lead to a mutual closeness between him and his mother. The fear of such an occurrence leads Hamlet to procrastinate the death of Claudius through self deception.

Advice for the day:

If you procrastinate long enough, somebody else will get the job done. For us old farts, this is an ideal strategy to not get worn out, saving our energy for doing fun activities. Take a page from "Old Uncle Joe" on Petticoat Junction.
