Quire: four sheets of paper or parchment folded to form eight leaves, as in medieval manuscripts.
Any collection of leaves one within another in a manuscript or book.
25 (formerly 24) sheets of paper; one twentieth of a ream.

I fetched a quire of office paper for myself, and one for the secretary in the back.

A choir, also sometimes called quire, is the area of a church or cathedral that provides seating for the clergy and church choir.
It is in the western part of the chancel, between the nave and the sanctuary, which houses the altar and Church tabernacle.

My inquiring mind wondered what the difference was between a ream of paper & a quire.
A ream is quantity of paper varying from 480 sheets (20 quires) to 516 sheets.
Or one could say a ream is a great amount.
