An EARWORM is a catchy song or tune that runs continually through a person's mind. It is also known as STICKY MUSIC, or INVOLUNTARY MUSICAL IMAGERY. It affects many people who find it difficult when trying to get some sleep. I suffer with it every night, most annoying.
