What does salubrious mean?


salubrious. adjective. sa·lu·bri·ous sə-ˈlü-brē-əs. : favorable to or promoting health or well-being. a salubrious climate.

Heh, heh. The firstI ever heard the word "salubrious" used was in a Mexican recipe for Menudo soup (with tripe) around 1969. The soup was recommended as a cure for hangovers, as it had a salubrious effect...:)
