Worker just fell 11 stories in San Francisco

Yikes! He fell onto a moving car-the car is heavily damaged. The worker has been taken to the hospital and is alive. He wouldn`t be for sure if he had hit the pavement. They are saying he just missed pedestrians who were crossing the street.
 

he's very lucky to be alive poor man...however today in London, a team of 8 removal men trying to move a sofa out of a house onto a balcony fell, as the balcony collapsed under the sheer weight of all of them, 2 men have died , one impaled on the railings below, and 6 are injured.

Can you imagine those mens' loved ones tonight..the sheer horror of discovering that their husbands/sons/fathers' went off to work this morning to do a simple house removal and have now died in such a horrible way...?

Oh,how awful hollydolly. Having a SIL and grandsons who have dangerous occupations,I never take their having a safe day at work for granted.
 
I saw this on the news, and although there may have been other removal men 'deaths' in the past, this is the first that I have heard of. They were unlucky, and this will be a warning to others of moving furniture this way [onto small balcony.]So very sad for the families and workmates.
