World championship for Repeat Catch-and-Release Criminal goes to ...a 16yr-old

Arrested and charged by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, then released by a juvenile court judge 111 times since Aug 2023, when he was only 14.

Arrest charges include
55 car thefts
45 car burglaries
7 stolen property exceeding $200
marijuana possession
gun possession...and more.

And among the alarming Google searches the CMPD found on his phone were the sequential queries Is police-murder a charge? What is the charge for killing a police officer? and What is capital murder?

At least the kid didn't spell it poe'leese. Well, actually, he might have; I'm reading from the CMPD report.

IMO, all the county juvenile court judges involved should be held accountable for failing to hold the kid accountable, and charged as an accomplice to crimes he committed against the good citizens of Charlotte-Mecklenburg County after each of his 111 releases to the custody of his likely crappy, possibly criminal parent(s)/guardians...who should be investigated.
