Ever hear of the Quokka? Probably yes, if you're an Aussie, not so sure if you live anywhere else. They live on Rottnest Island in Australia and have become a huge tourist attraction. Sort of a relative of the kangaroo, with a bear's head! They are apparently tame and friendly, and tourists love to pose with them for selfies.
They are billed as the world's friendliest animal. They certainly look that way! I read about them in The Atlantic, which I just subscribed to. But there are all sorts of articles about them, and tons of pictures, which can be googled. They made me smile!
