A 74-year-old woman from India has become the oldest mother ever to give birth — and doctors are calling her twin baby girls a “medical miracle.”

The mother had a stroke after delivery ...imagine that. Father had a heart attack the next day and both are in intensive care.

I started to post about this last night. It's one of the most sickening things I've read recently. A group of people that included at least one medical doctor initially took advantage of 50 plus years of heartbreak to use this woman as a lab rat. The doctor that did the IVF should never work in the medical field again.

This is just Wrong...from literally Every perspective. Did these old folks give Any consideration to what would happen to these children if the IVF was successful??? The best thing that could happen, IMO, is that these twins be put up for adoption, and these old fools Never see them.

They're poor agricultural workers in India. They were exploited. The IVF clinic that did the procedure did it for free to set the world's record for oldest successful IVF. Not sure how successful it was being that the mother had to go into ICU after delivery.
 
My gut says it's not right. The eggs weren't hers of course- they were from donors, then fertilized by the husband.

I somehow believe that as stupid as they are, they're not so stupid as to not have a family in place for the babies to go to.

In that case they should all be charged and lose their license to practice medicine. It’s pathetic. It’s disgusting.

People can truly be sickening at times.
