Would it be a good thing if everyone was like you?

No. What a horrible idea. Who would I learn from? I need complementary and opposite virtues and ideas, that way I can bounce off them and come to a greater understanding. I mean, I like who I am, but damn, if this is doing things right, then we're doomed. :D

As long as there is conversation, the exchange of ideas and ideals without rancor, we can all learn, imo. We learn less from people just like ourselves.

No..too much sameness would be boring. I mean, we do tend to drift toward like minded, or similar minded people to develop friendships....but if all were like us,,no.
Thatis what makes places like this cool...people of different lives, sharing their own experiences. We are of similar ages, here, but sharing different views in a civil manor is what keeps the good folks coming back

No way! Life would be so boring (not that I am boring) if everyone was the same. How could you stand out if we were all the same? Even in a herd of animals that looks the same to us are each unique and has their own personality, likes and dislikes.
